Lua....

Our dog Lua was born in Pt Hedland in 2000

and is a much loved member of our family.  We named her Lua, as she was our croc lure....if we were at a river and Lua swam there and didn't get taken by a croc, we knew it was safe for the boys to swim there!!

The even named Severe Tropical Cyclone Lua after her in 2012...a Category 4, where she wreaked havoc across the North West of WA....

She's well known to everyone who walks along the estuary at home, loves going crabbing

crabbing with Stuart out the back....

and is loved by the neighbours.  She is quite deaf now and a bit arthritic, but other than that is doing OK. 

My sister Stephanie has kindly taken over the looking after of her and she is being treated like royalty, with day trips to Margaret River........

Right now she is on retreat at Margaret River at my sister Margaret's place, where I believe she is getting the full spa treatment...thanks Margaret and Kym xxx
So I just wanted to thank all those who have looked after her for the past 6 months....and for the next 6 months ....all the family really appreciate it....xxx
